2. Visiting the website, server log files

This website is operated by an external hosting provider that processes the data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). Our analysis systems run separately on our own servers on our premises; no data are passed to them through this website. When a page is requested, the web server processes technically necessary data transmitted by your browser:

The purpose is to deliver the website and to keep the server secure and analyse errors. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in secure and stable operation. Log data are stored only as long as necessary for these purposes and then deleted, unless they are needed longer to investigate a specific security incident. They are not combined with other data or analysed for advertising.

3. Language selection

When you open the start address www.tomarec.eu, we evaluate the language setting sent by your browser and forward you to the German or English version. The setting is used only at that moment and is not stored. There is no location lookup based on your IP address.

4. Encryption

The pages are transmitted encrypted via HTTPS.

5. Contact by e-mail or phone

If you contact us by e-mail or phone, we process your details to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We delete the data once the enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply. The contact address quantum@akso.de is operated by André Koppel Software GmbH, which works for us at the same address.

6. Links to other websites

References to other websites (e.g. Wikipedia, Wolfram, Library of Congress) are plain links. Data are transmitted to these providers only when you click a link; their privacy policies then apply.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21).

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany, www.datenschutz-berlin.de.
